Honour Roll Criteria

To receive Honour Roll recognition, a student must attain an average percentage of at least 80% in all qualifying subjects.

To receive the Principal's List distinction, a student must attain an average percentage of 90% or greater.

Students taking five or fewer qualifying courses are not eligible for the Honour Roll. Non-qualifying courses include: Business Admin, Assistant 12, Community Service 11, Distance Education (correspondence) courses, Vancouver Learning Network (VLN), Grad Transitions, and ungraded courses. Also, a percentage of less than 60% in any subject means elimination from the Honour Roll and Principal's List

How to Calculate Your Average
STEP 1: Add up all your percentages.

STEP 2: Divide the total amount by the number of subjects.

If the result is between 80 - 89%, you get Honour Roll.
If the result is between 90 - 100%, you get Principal's List.
